outstanding service. September’s menu will be:
A SPECTACULAR SUMMER SALAD BUFFET
GRILLED SHRIMP SKEWERS & GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST
ASSORTED BREADS & ROLLS
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
As usual tea, coffee, soda and water
are included for $16.00. (Your check made out to Camden Newcomers’
Club or exact change please on the day of the luncheon.) Wine,
Mimosas, etc will be available for a nominal charge.
To make your reservation please reply to this email with the word
“LUNCHEON” and your NAME in the text by noon on Monday,
September 3rd. Sherri Simons, Luncheon Reservations, will
acknowledge your reservation by email. In the case of a dietary
restriction please indicate this on your reservation as well and we
will accommodate you. Sorry no cancellations after noon on September
3rd. Patty has asked that our members channel all questions and
suggestions through Barbara. This has proven to be the most efficient
method to address concerns.

Historically there
is not a program scheduled for the September Luncheon as there are
several “housekeeping” issues to be addressed. Marie Devine and
Rita Bruce will have a table set up for Membership. You can bring
your completed form (sent by prior email) and $15.00 CHECK made out
to “CAMDEN NEWCOMERS’ CLUB” with you if you have not already
mailed it. There will be sign up sheets for our many activities
including Lunch Out, Coffee at Deborah Lembo’s new home, Hay Days
Scarecrows and our 11 remaining “Billy Elliot” tickets. The
50/50 Raffle will feature prizes donated by some of our members who
are business owners and a gift certificate for a free Newcomers’
Luncheon. We promise to race through the business as quickly as
possible so there will be lots of time for socializing! There may
be a few surprises up our sleeves. All four of us are excited about
THE FUN that lies ahead of us this year. We hope you are too! Be
sure to save September 6th and the First Thursday of every month
through May for Newcomers’. there is a great time in your future
so be sure to bring all your friends to share the friendship!

Roof” this summer.
Happy
to hear that Pat Epstein and Jayne Johnson are well on their road to
recovery after surgery this summer.
Hope
that Rita Bruce’s boot is off in time for our First Luncheon. She
broke her ankle in London.
We
so sadly report the passing of Connie Casto in late July. She was a
dedicated member who will be greatly missed by the members of the
Camden Newcomers’ Club.
